20/10 experience! We went on a Thursday night for dinner and did the tasting menu. It was WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. The special cocktail (raspberry and peach with tequila) was beyond delicious, the food was phenomenal from start to finish, and the service was impeccable. Carlos was our main server, and he was absolutely amazing. He was so knowledgeable, made sure to cater to our dietary needs, and truly made our meal an experience to be remembered forever. He said he’s been doing this for 21 years, and his passion for food and excellent service truly shows. He even refused to accept the additional tip we tried to give him although he deserved so much more than the 20% auto-gratuity. This fine dining experience truly blew us away and we will definitely be back.
Hi so I’ve been here twice and each time the service was excellent. The first time was for a birthday dinner with a group of 7 and they were accommodating and very attentive. You can also taste the food is very authentic you feel like you’re really eating food from somebodies auntie that everyone talk about. The second time I was there my server Isabelle was very nice and helped me narrow done some choices which was very helpful. When I came for the birthday dinner the birthday girl decided based on atmosphere alone and the exceeded expectations. The bartender is great as well, they have a very well stocked bar and the bartender is very experienced. Highly recommend will be back soon.
Great service with friendly staff. Drinks we amazing with a large selection of tequilas and Mezcal to request to be used in your drinks. Food was flavorful. I would definitely recommend visiting.
Amazing experience. This restaurant has a Tulum vibe to it. Our waiter Anthony was so kind and informative. The managerial staff were very nice and welcoming. The food is so creative. Every meal we had was curated with art and taste in mind. Staff said they will have a brunch menu soon with a live DJ. I will definitely be back with a larger party. thank you so much.
Went for brunch and everything was delicious! The decor transported me straight to Mexico, creating an authentic and vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommend the French toast—it’s a must-try. While you’re obviously there for the Mexican dishes, share the French toast with the table—you won’t regret it. The guacamole and aguachile were also fantastic. I had the agua de Jamaica to drink, and it was pretty good. As the place filled up, it did get a bit loud, but the lively music added to the energetic vibe. Definitely worth a visit!
Tabu is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The decor is a perfect mix of modern and cozy, creating a vibe that’s both stylish and super inviting. It truly makes you feel like you’re in Tulum. (I’ve been twice) Whether you’re on a date or out with friends, the atmosphere feels just right. The service was top-notch, especially thanks to our waiter David. His attention to detail was next level, he made sure everything was perfect and had great recommendations. You can tell he really cares about making your experience special. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Every dish was packed with flavor and presented beautifully. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a great meal with awesome service in a cool setting. Definitely worth checking out!
New executive chef & new menu! Walked in on a Friday around 4:30 and opted to sit outside at the bar. Ended up trying 4 of their margs and they're tasty as hell (mango, tamarind, passion fruit, and kiwi). Liked Passion fruit and mango the best but they were all so solid. Shoutout to Lee - great bartender and even funnier guy. Smoke in the box tequila made our evening! For food, I got the salsa flight. Do it! Some of 5 of the best salsas I ever had. They refilled my chips also when requested (chips are homemade and soo good). The chef came out and spoke with us for 20 min and gave me a house tortilla to try (it was amazing). Will definitely be coming back for dinner, I want to try their outdoor raw bar and the new seafood menu. Must be said - the space is gorgeous and they have vibey music playing @ 80 decibels. Great date night spot especially during dusk
Amazing service! Came here with my family to celebrate my birthday and Carlos was soooo hospitable and caring for us! Even took care of my 86 year old grandpa and accommodated his food requests which can be challenging! Such an amazing experience I will be back in the summer to enjoy the outdoor space!
